Abstract


This research aims to determine the self-efficacy of students who are taking practical field experience (PPL) courses held at a private university in Jambi. The subjects were 6 students majoring in English education, who carried out teaching practice in a number of high school level schools in the Jambi Province area. Data collection was carried out by administering the Teachers’ Sense Self Efficacy scale. The results show that classroom management efficacy is higher for students who practice teaching at high school in the district compared to students who teach in the city. Student engagement efficacy shows no differance between twoteaching location,they have teacher self efficacy high.
